More About Our Organization

Located in the Heart of Ecuador's Andes Mountains

Chimborazo Province is an area of unique interest and great need. The population is largely indigenous with a unique culture in terms of language, religion, family and social structure, work, music and dance.

World Class Leadership

Our team is comprised of specialists from Ecuador, the United States, and several countries around the world.  Each individual has a deep affinity to contribute to the well-being of Ecuador’s communities as well as sharing their unique perspectives on the developing world.

Over 50,000 People Served

FIBUSPAM provides  integrated health care and humanitarian support to thousands of Ecuadorians in need every year.  The clinic opened in August of 2007 and has continuously expanded its services. We serve a largely indigenous population in an area marked by significant poverty with limited or no access to health care. Our clinic is also a secure and well-equipped base for teams of foreign surgeons who wish to travel to Ecuador to do humanitarian work.

Our Partnerships

FIBUSPAM succeeds because of the dedication, generosity and hard work of a small army of physicians, humanitarians, and friends both in Ecuador and in the U.S. We thank them for their commitment to FIBUSPAM and the people of Ecuador are honored to have the chance to work with each one of them.

We are also extremely grateful to our funders and implementation partners who make our work possible.

Our Story

We are dedicated to supporting the physical, environmental and social well-being of Ecuadorian families. Ecuador. Our services are free and are available to all regardless of race or religion. Our patients are treated with respect and receive quality, compassionate medical care. Our goal with our Volun-our programs is to increase international understanding of the developing world.

FIBUSPAM receives teams of American and International professionals, as well as high school and college students who volunteer at our clinic in Ecuador and experience quality interactions with the communities that we serve.
